Why we left DramaTube (aka I-Tube.net)

A very old blog (Dec. 2009) that I posted and decided to move here. Should give you better insight in how MeanBlackDude operates. DramaTube is now known as I-Tube.net btw. Same shit, different name...

I wanted you all to know EXACTLY as to why we left Dramatube. Friends of mine keep asking exactly as to why we left and figured they deserve an answer. Some think that Frag and I left because "our egos got in the way". Frag and I spent lots of time, dedication, and even money into promoting that site. We spent way more time and energy into DT then MeanBlackDude ever did while we were there. Does it make any sense for founding members to one day just quit over trivial matters?

Don't let Dramatube's new management fool you into thinking that things are gonna be different. From what they have already done, they have laid the groundwork for DT's ultimate failure and history repeating itself. MeanBlackDude has reinstated accounts to some of the worst trolls the internet has to offer. He even went so far as to reinstate the account of a registered sex offender who was convicted of child molestation. You can view the person in question both on the Georgia state sex offender registry and here as well..

In the beginning, Dramatube actually got off to a very good start. Eventually however a few unsavory people started hearing about the site, they signed up, and that's when big trouble first began. Some of these guys are 100% social misfits and had an agenda against DT from day one. An agenda such as viciously attacking other members, false accusations against the staff, disrupting the chatroom, revealing ppl's personal info, false DMCA's, etc etc. Basically doing everything humanly possible to sabotage the site.

Some of these people went so far as to take things offline and pull people's real life families into this. Personally, I was harassed quite a bit off of Dramatube for months and even got up to 20 harassing phone calls one night. And yet somehow MeanBlackDude has the nerve to cater to such people by saying that we were ultimately to blame and made us the scapegoat.

Since now that we are out of the picture, are we to assume that these guys will magically just stop what they're doing? That's very funny given all their history.. In fact, one of these guys has a history spanning all the way back to 7 years and has been picked up by the police at least twice. If he thinks all the bullshit is gonna vanish now that we're gone, then he's in for a rude awakening. Eventually they'll find somebody else to fuck around with now that we're gone and things will be right back to where they were.

Much of the original DT administrators did just about everything possible to keep such people off the site. Whereas MeanBlackDude (who was mostly M.I.A.) did absolutely nothing to help. His excuse? Supposedly he works between 15-17 hours a day. That's very interesting because the few times I've visited Dramatube since my departure, his name always shows up in the activity bar. So are we to believe that MBD has a laptop attached to his waist, always leaving comments on blogs/videos while he's out driving on the road? I know people in real life who've worked such insane hours and they barely have time to sleep, eat, and take a shit much less play around on a website.

  1. When Frag & company left Dramatube I thought it was occupational and personal reasons.

Introduction of BeeOBee as Admin signaled change. Change that would have repercussions in many forms.

In our own way we are all attention whores. Some of us learn, some of us don't. Some of us turn toxic.

Never forget that all things are not equal, fair or lawful in the face of lulz. Lulz innocence is long gone. There are no rules governing how toxic parties will become to feed their lulz. Lulz has become a dysfunctional term used by bullies, mental and sociopaths.

Times I feel like a hypocrite for writing enlighten blurbs while seeing my past actions. This is a sign of maturity.
